This project is initiated with a mission in creating an impression for Malaysia as an important hub in championing contemporary architecture in the ASEAN roadmap.
Malaysian architects' design is not secondary rank compared to others in the region but it is just short of visibility and courage in branding.
This PAM (Institute Architects Malaysia) 2017 award winner architecture appreciation tour will create a business lead (be it in tourism and architecture consultancy) and branding to our nation. This marketing tool is unique based on PAM credibility and our home groom architects' design distinction.
The logistic of the tour operation will be handled by a local travel agency; the tour guide will be specifically carried out by urban planner, architect, researcher and owner of the builidings who agreed to be on board. This proposal has tabled to PAM concurrently and few local travel agency has been approached for rough quote. The RM8,000 raised here is only entitle us to win the competition for People Ideas Culture to kick start, and hopefully with the in-house training provided in MyStartr and leverage on the investors' network and resources, the next phase of fund raising will be bulletproof with this first round market prove. The rough estimation for this tour to tak off is around RM50,000, for on ground logistic coordination, tour agency engagement, web design, guide honorarium, soft launch and marketing purpose.
Once funded by end of Nov, the facebook page will be created in mid Dec (in creating market impression and curiosity, as well as sponsorship drive) and the website will be created in Jan 2018 (to accept the registration formally via online payment). The final registration will be closed on 15 Feb 2018.

这是一场众筹竞赛:即30/11截至,若不能达标RM8千,数额将会自动退款给捐献者。若达标,人思文便能进行一系列的创业受训,将此现代建筑欣赏团落实。
Risk is the only least interest of the sign ups from the region. However, according to every year DATUM (Malaysia based International Architecture and Design Conference) intake, the post conference or during conference site visit for the award winners, the respond is always well received and short-handed. Hence this an attempt in making it a separate architecture appreciation tour in March/April every year, that will based on the award winner list in previous year. This is the first shout ever, and the engaged local travel agency will handle together the marketing and booking matter. The volunteers will be recruited through various architecture faculty in universities and colleges. The further sponsorship drive will raise over the product brief talk sponsored by local material suppliers once granted by PAM.
